Not Again!?!

Less than 1 year from the devastating "Mother's Day Flood" of 2006, we are hit yet again. I am doing basement flood control duty as the water is still coming in almost as fast as I can get it out, and roads all around me have washed out, stranding us all in our homes for who knows how long.

That lovely picture you see is basically the main road to anywhere from here, and it's like this in both directions...or so I'm told, since I can't go anywhere. At least I've got some pumps this time. And I've still got electricity, which is not the case for many in the region. I really feel for them. It's wet, it's cold, and it's dark. And we are still gonna see rain, albeit much less of it, for the next 3 days.

Please send squeegees and pray for Spring.
